Cerberus is in Greek mythology the hound of Hades, who guards the entrance to the Underworld, the realm of the god Hades. His main task is to prevent the spirits of the dead from leaving the Underworld and to stop the living from entering without authorization. He is a loyal guardian of Hades. Cerberus is an iconic symbol of an insurmountable guardian.
