Dad Cap (Strapback) with a chainstitch embroidered 手力 on the front.
Please choose your Cap Colour and Thread Colour from the pull-down menu.

The Japanese word 手力 literally means "Hand strength" - while it can refer to physical strength in the hands, it may also imply skilled or capable use of the hands, depending on the context — such as in craftsmanship, sports, or martial arts.

This term is often associated with Tejikarao-no-Mikoto (手力男命), a god in Japanese mythology known for his immense physical strength – particularly his "hand power." He played a significant role in helping to bring the sun goddess Amaterasu out of a cave. In doing so, he helps bring light back into the world.

Inspired by vintage ballcaps and made with the same machine they used back in the days.

The lettering is embroidered with a rare chain stitch embroidery machine from 1920. The machine is operated freehand by turning a crank handle so we can literally draw stitched lines on the fabric.

Each embroidery is operated freehand - none is alike. Each cap is unique with a great handcrafted look and feel.
