Hand engraved windproof lighter with an antique burning heart badge entitled by “Love you to death“ on the front and a snake embraced skull on the back. The phrase around the sacred heart is polish and says: Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Vintage style patina.
The skull and snake motif — original artwork by Hamburg tattoo artist Christian Warlich, born in 1891 – is a Memento Mori - a reminder that one day our time will all be up and that we have to enjoy life with our loved ones.The Sacred Heart is an iconic depiction in Christian art. The bleeding, flaming heart, wrapped in a crown of thorns symbolises Christ and his sacrifice for humankind, while the fire represents the transformative power of love.

The lighter comes with an insert which has to be filled by you with lighter fuel. We also offer an additional single jet flame insert for an odourless flame - this has to be filled by you with butane gas.
